Tim McCormack (DMSB ’26) is a third year Business Administration student who has participated in three global experiences across his time at Northeastern so far. These experiences have prepared him to be a global citizen, giving him the global mobility skills that are needed in our connected world.

“During my time at Northeastern, I’ve had the chance to experience three incredible global opportunities while staying actively involved on campus. I started with the N.U.in Program in Rome, Italy, in 2022, where I spent my first semester exploring 14 different countries while completing some of my core business classes. When I got back to campus, I dove into various clubs and organizations. This spring, I’ll be serving as President of Northeastern’s oldest and largest finance club, the Finance & Investment Club. I’ll also be the Vice President of the Private Equity & Venture Capital Club, a Senior Analyst for Northeastern’s Impact Investment Fund (NUImpact), and a member of the Executive Board for Northeastern’s Presidential Ambassadors. This past summer (2024), I studied abroad at the London School of Economics for three weeks. Before that, I backpacked through Europe and visited 8  countries. After that amazing experience, I had a quick one-week break before starting my co-op in Portland, Oregon, where I’m currently working full-time at Alkali Partners, an independent investment bank focused on software. I’ll continue this role through December 2024. Exploring the world has been such a big part of my Northeastern experience, and I’m excited to keep taking advantage of all the global opportunities the university offers!”
