Description of Subject Interest and Expertise: Music perception and cognition, cognitive neuroscience of music, creativity and well-being
Description of Current Project/Scholarly Endeavor: We currently conduct three lines of studies, all in human participants: 1) neuroimaging studies and music-based interventions for mild Alzheimer’s Disease, 2) neuroimaging studies of musical creativity in young adults, 3) behavioral and electrophysiological studies in childhood and adolescence.
Profile of Student Researcher: We welcome students with interests in music and human subjects research. Technical background and experience with statistics, data analysis, and data management are strongly preferred.
